Recently, the Visit Indochina team welcomed an Indian delegation for a 9-day, 8-night journey across Vietnam, exploring some of the country’s most iconic destinations from the mountainous North to the Southern coastal region.

Visit Indochina has continued to strengthen its presence in the Indian market through long-term partnership development and promotional activities. The company currently has representatives based in India to enhance cooperation with local partners and further promote Vietnam as an attractive destination for international travelers.
During their stay in Vietnam, the Indian guests visited a range of renowned attractions from North to South. In Sa Pa, the delegation explored Fansipan, Moana Café and the Rong May Glass Bridge.

In the Northwest region, the group experienced the atmosphere of Vietnam’s mountain landscapes, admired the natural scenery and enjoyed check-in activities at destinations that have recently gained popularity among international visitors. Following the northern leg of the trip, the delegation continued to Phu Quoc for leisure and entertainment activities.

Their itinerary in Phu Quoc included Vinpearl Safari, VinWonders, Grand World and the “3 Islands – Symphony of the Sea” performance. The Indian guests highly appreciated Vietnam’s tourism products that combine relaxation, entertainment and scenic experiences.
Indian travelers tend to favor destinations that share certain cultural similarities and possess rich cultural heritage, particularly countries recognized for their UNESCO World Heritage values. Beyond the MICE segment, Indian group travelers are also increasingly interested in long-stay and cross-country experiences throughout Vietnam.
In 2022, Visit Indochina welcomed thousands of Indian visitors to Da Nang for combined tourism and conference programs. During their trips, many guests expressed a strong appreciation for Vietnam’s peaceful atmosphere, diverse cuisine, friendly people and especially the availability of halal-friendly services and high-quality accommodation.
Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Visit Indochina, said the company is continuing to work closely with partners and actively promote Vietnam in the Indian market in preparation for the growing wave of Indian travelers visiting the country.
According to tourism industry statistics, Vietnam welcomed approximately 746,000 Indian visitors in 2025, making India the country’s sixth-largest international tourism market after China, South Korea, Taiwan (China), Japan and the United States.
In the first four months of 2026, arrivals from India continued to grow strongly, reaching more than 324,000 visitors, an increase of around 35% compared to the same period last year. Indian travelers are increasingly choosing Vietnam over other destinations thanks to factors such as suitable cuisine, cultural depth, friendly locals and convenient accessibility through the growing number of direct flight routes.
