Among the tailor-made itineraries designed by Visit Indochina for different source markets, the cross-country tour remains one of the most popular products among Indian travelers. India has also emerged as one of Vietnam’s fastest-growing inbound tourism markets in recent years.

In Northern Vietnam, the group embarked on a trekking experience through Cat Cat Village, conquered Fansipan Peak - the 3,143-meter-high Roof of Indochina, enjoyed the Rainbow Slide attraction and checked in at Moana Café overlooking the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

The travelers also visited Sa Pa Stone Church and Rong May Glass Bridge before returning to Hanoi to discover Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter and the distinctive cultural spaces of Vietnam’s thousand-year-old capital.

The journey then continued to Central Vietnam, a region renowned for its rich heritage and concentration of cultural landmarks. In Hue, the former imperial capital, the group visited Lang Co Bay, Thien Mu Pagoda and the Hue Imperial Citadel – part of the UNESCO-recognized Complex of Hue Monuments. They also experienced a traditional cyclo ride through the historic city.

In Da Nang, the travelers explored Ba Na Hills, home to one of the world’s most celebrated cable car systems, visited Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula, wandered through the ancient town of Hoi An and enjoyed a basket boat experience in the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest, one of the most popular eco-tourism activities among international visitors.

The final destination of the journey was Phu Quoc, an island increasingly recognized as one of Southeast Asia’s leading resort and leisure destinations.

Here, the group experienced the Hon Thom Cable Car, visited the iconic Kiss Bridge, enjoyed the spectacular multimedia show Kiss of the Sea and explored major entertainment complexes including VinWonders Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Safari and Grand World.

According to Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Visit Indochina, the company has recorded consistent growth in arrivals from India thanks to years of market development efforts, including promotional activities and maintaining dedicated representatives in the country.

“Visit Indochina’s tour designs are highly suitable for Indian travelers and consistently receive positive feedback. We have also built a network of specialized restaurants and hotels catering to Indian guests’ preferences, allowing our partners to confidently send large groups to Vietnam on a regular basis,” he said.

In 2023, Visit Indochina successfully organized a MICE trip in Da Nang for one of India’s leading textile groups. The program concluded with high praise and strong satisfaction from participants.

According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, India continues to be one of the fastest-growing international source markets for Vietnam.

In the first three months of 2026 alone, Vietnam welcomed more than 242,000 Indian visitors, placing India among the country’s top 10 international tourism markets.

In Lao Cai Province, India has now become one of the four largest international source markets, highlighting the increasing appeal of Vietnam’s nature-based tourism products and cultural experiences among travelers from South Asia.
