Visit Indochina Promotes Vietnam Tourism at Multiple Travel Fairs in Indonesia

As one of Visit Indochina's ten key traditional markets contributing a significant proportion of its clientele, the Indonesian market is being prioritized for development and promotion to better inform and serve Indonesian travelers interested in Vietnam.

On July 30, Mr. Nguyễn Sơn Thuỷ – Director of Visit Indochina Travel Company – shared that the company's staff is actively present at major tourism events in Indonesia to promote Vietnam’s unique tourism products.

Through these large-scale events, Visit Indochina demonstrates its broad regional operations by maintaining a presence in major countries to meet, exchange, and provide updated information to partners.
Specifically: On July 22, Visit Indochina’s team attended a travel fair in Jakarta. This is one of Indonesia’s leading annual tourism events, attracting numerous service providers and travel agencies.

By participating in person, the team met with the company's existing partners to share the latest updates on tourism trends between the two countries, especially capturing insights on the growing preferences for Halal travel, budget tourism, and other specific market segments.
From August 5–8, Visit Indochina will attend Astindo B2B 2025, where the team will introduce the latest developments in Vietnam’s tourism landscape, update attendees on visa policies, highlight new destination offers, and increase brand recognition for Visit Indochina in Pekanbaru.

Following that, from August 14, the World Tex – Surabaya event will take place, attracting many business operators. Visit Indochina is well-prepared to attend and promote its brand while learning more about Indonesian travelers’ interest in Vietnam.
From October 6 to 8, a major tourism-focused event will be held in Jakarta and Medan. As a traditional market with consistently high tourist numbers visiting Vietnam annually, Visit Indochina is working to maximize the provision of services and information to attract more travelers from this key Southeast Asian country.
According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in 2024 Vietnam welcomed nearly 17.6 million international visitors, including over 184,000 travelers from Indonesia – making it one of Vietnam’s most important markets in the Southeast Asian region.Conversely, a growing number of Vietnamese tourists are choosing Indonesia, especially Bali, as a top travel destination.
