Recently, a MICE group from Malaysia experienced a multi-day journey through Nha Trang and Da Lat, with the programme guided and coordinated by Visit Indochina.

The programme was designed, accompanied and fully coordinated by Visit Indochina, based on the group’s specific requirements.
In Nha Trang, the group visited Po Nagar Cham Towers, a centuries-old Cham architectural complex located along the Cai River and one of the coastal city’s most prominent cultural attractions.
The group also visited Long Son Pagoda, a well-known religious site featuring the iconic White Buddha overlooking Trai Thuy Hill, before taking time to relax and enjoy local cuisine around the night market area.
Beyond its coastal appeal, Nha Trang is also considered a suitable destination for MICE travellers, thanks to its diverse range of accommodation, dining venues and event spaces.
Khanh Hoa Province welcomed more than 10.6 million visitors in 2024. In the first six months of 2026 alone, the province recorded more than 11.9 million visitors, an increase of nearly 41% year on year - reflecting the growing appeal of the region as a tourism destination.
Leaving Nha Trang behind, the group travelled to Da Lat, the misty highland city of Vietnam. Here, Datanla Waterfall offered an opportunity to connect with nature, while the Da Lat Cable Car to Truc Lam Zen Monastery provided panoramic views of pine forests, Tuyen Lam Lake and the surrounding highland landscape.

Da Lat is also emerging as one of Vietnam’s destinations experiencing rapid growth in international arrivals. The city captivates visitors with its romantic, fairytale-like scenery and cool climate year-round. Its landscape is further characterised by century-old villas nestled among mature pine forests along the hillsides.
A key highlight of the Malaysian group’s journey was a Gala Dinner specially designed by Visit Indochina. More than simply a closing dinner, the event was created as a space for participants to connect, engage with one another and reflect on the experiences shared throughout the trip.
Through its experience welcoming groups from 10 key source markets, Visit Indochina has found that MICE groups require more than a well-curated sightseeing programme. They also require seamless coordination across accommodation, dining, transportation and team-building experiences.
For this reason, Visit Indochina places particular emphasis on designing and coordinating the entire programme as one integrated journey, ensuring a smooth experience that meets the service standards expected by international groups.
The presence of Malaysian corporate groups in Nha Trang and Da Lat highlights the significant potential of Southeast Asia’s MICE market, particularly for itineraries that combine coastal experiences, leisure, culture and highland escapes within a single programme.
