Recently, Credit Management Association - a company from the Philippines completed its Annual Development Planning Programme in Ho Chi Minh City, with Visit Indochina coordinating the entire itinerary. The programme concluded successfully, leaving participants with memorable experiences of the city.

The programme combined strategic planning sessions with destination inspections and sightseeing activities, reflecting a growing trend among international companies to integrate MICE travel with local cultural experiences.
During their stay in Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation, accompanied by Visit Indochina's tour guides, explored Ben Thanh Market to gain insights into the city's commercial activities, local cuisine and everyday life at one of Ho Chi Minh City's most iconic landmarks.
The group also visited Ba Thien Hau Temple to learn about the architecture and spiritual traditions of the local Chinese community. In addition, they experienced the Saigon Water Bus along the Saigon River, connecting the city centre with Thu Duc City while observing the rapid development of the riverside urban landscape.

The combination of meetings, incentives, conferences and destination experiences has become an increasingly popular model among Visit Indochina's partners across Southeast Asia. The company has welcomed a growing number of MICE groups in recent years, reflecting continued expansion in this market segment.
Rather than focusing solely on business agendas, many international companies are extending their stays to organise team-building activities and immerse their employees in local culture.

The decision by the Philippine corporate delegation to select Ho Chi Minh City for its annual programme further strengthens the city's MICE visitor arrivals from the Southeast Asian market - a segment that benefits from geographical proximity, short flight durations and extensive regional air connectivity.
This is also a priority market segment for Ho Chi Minh City's tourism industry, given its high spending potential and demand for a wide range of services, including accommodation, conference facilities, transportation and sightseeing.
As Vietnam's largest economic hub, Ho Chi Minh City serves as a gateway to an extensive tourism network across southern Vietnam. Working closely with local partners and destination operators, Visit Indochina organises programmes featuring Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding attractions, including the Independence Palace, Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh Province and Vung Tau.
