At Travel Sale Expo 2026, held in the Philippines in early October, Visit Indochina’s representative met with local travel agents to introduce tour programmes designed to bring more visitors to Vietnam.

The fourth Travel Sale Expo took place from 2 to 4 October at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, the Philippines, featuring approximately 200 booths representing airlines, hotels, tour operators and other tourism service providers.

According to the organisers, the fair recorded a total attendance of 56,000 over three days and was one of the largest tourism events in the Philippines, a long-standing key market for Visit Indochina.

Organised by the Global Tourism Business Association (GTBA) and OneKlik Events Management Services, the event brought together airlines including Philippine Airlines, Starlux Airlines, United Airlines, Malaysia Airlines and Sunlight Air, alongside numerous hotel groups and travel companies. Vietnamese Ambassador to the Philippines Lai Thai Binh also attended the opening ceremony.

Among the Vietnamese businesses connecting with partners at the event, Visit Indochina, a leading international tour operator in Vietnam, was represented by Ms Nekah Cherry Deloso, who oversees the company’s Philippine market.

Drawing on her direct conversations with partners, Ms Deloso said Vietnam remained an attractive destination, recording some of the strongest growth in visitor arrivals worldwide.

Vietnam aims to welcome nearly 29 million visitors in 2026, while the APEC event in Phu Quoc in early 2027 is expected to provide a major boost in attracting travellers from around the world.

To meet demand across its source markets, Visit Indochina has developed a range of tour packages tailored to different traveller preferences. For the Philippine market, its established MICE and Visit Vietnam packages have been well received by partners and have brought substantial numbers of visitors to Vietnam.

During the fair, travel agents also used Visit Indochina’s business-to-business (B2B) portal to access product information while assisting customers.

According to Ms Deloso, most of the agents she met at the event were existing partners. Meeting in person provided an opportunity to share product updates, address questions arising from ongoing bookings and maintain communication between the two sides.

Alongside these existing partners, Visit Indochina’s representative met new agents, introduced the company’s services, guided them through B2B account registration and created communication groups to continue discussions after the fair.

Visit Indochina strengthens its international brand presence

Beyond Travel Sale Expo 2026, Visit Indochina has maintained an active presence at major regional events and international tourism promotion programmes over the past year, strengthening partnerships while promoting Vietnam as a destination and raising the company’s profile.

Earlier in 2026, Visit Indochina’s representatives participated in a Da Nang tourism roadshow in Cebu and the PTAA Travel Tour Expo in Manila.

The company has also organised product update programmes for Philippine partners, introducing itineraries such as Hanoi – Sa Pa – Ha Long, Da Nang – Hoi An – Ba Na Hills, and Mui Ne – Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh City.

Its regular participation in major events helps deepen partner relationships while reinforcing the reach, reputation and brand recognition of a company that has consistently ranked among Vietnam’s top 10 inbound tour operators by visitor volume since 2021.
