Accordingly, from now until 2028, citizens from the aforementioned countries entering Vietnam will be exempted from visas, with a temporary stay of 45 days from the date of entry. This applies regardless of passport type or purpose of entry, provided they meet all entry conditions as stipulated by Vietnamese law.

This visa exemption policy will remain in effect until March 14, 2028, and may be considered for extension in accordance with Vietnamese law.

The Vietnamese government's decision to grant visa exemptions to citizens of multiple countries is a strategic move with significant implications, particularly for the development of the tourism sector.

Citizens of these exempted countries are known for high spending when traveling. Moreover, these countries are among the top source markets for tourists visiting Vietnam.
