In a significant step towards boosting connectivity between Vietnam and India, Vietjet has officially launched direct flights between Da Nang and Ahmedabad. Starting on October 23, 2024, this route will offer two round-trip flights per week, further enhancing travel convenience between the two cities.

This new route brings the total number of direct flights between Vietnam and India to eight, with 60 flights operating weekly. Flights from Da Nang to Ahmedabad will depart every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:10 PM, while return flights from Ahmedabad will take off at 12:25 AM every Thursday and Sunday.

Ahmedabad, the largest city in the state of Gujarat, is renowned for its blend of ancient and modern architecture, including landmarks like Bhadra Fort and Swaminarayan Temple. With this new connection, Indian travelers will also have the chance to explore Vietnam's "most livable city," Da Nang, and embark on the Central Heritage journey, which includes Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue, offering pristine beaches, luxurious resorts, and a rich cultural experience.

To mark this occasion, Visit Indochina will organize a 3-day, 2-night fam trip for Indian travel agents, giving them firsthand exposure to the unique experiences Da Nang has to offer.
