The event is one of the key attractions of this year’s Summer Festival, bringing together eight traditional and contemporary performing arts groups from France, Spain, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.

All performances will be held outdoors and offered free of charge to both residents and visitors. Audiences can enjoy a diverse range of artistic expressions, including contemporary dance, pop music, flamenco, fashion shows and performances blending traditional and modern cultural elements.

Representing Vietnam, the Hue Royal Traditional Arts Theatre will present a special program alongside a Trinh Cong Son tribute concert featuring a number of renowned artists.

Main performances will begin at 8:00 PM each evening. The opening night on June 13 will feature artists from Japan, South Korea and the Hue Royal Traditional Arts Theatre. The Trinh Cong Son music night is scheduled for June 14, while the closing ceremony on June 18 will conclude the festival with performances by young Vietnamese singers.

Following the music week, the Hue Lotus Festival 2026 will take place from June 19 to 21 at Tinh Tam Lake in Phu Xuan Ward.

A major highlight of the festival is the “Thuc Thuy Show,” an immersive art and culinary experience combining sound, lighting effects and lotus-inspired cuisine.

Beyond Tinh Tam Lake, visitors to Hue during this period can also explore some of the city’s most famous lotus-growing areas, including La Chu Lotus Village in Kim Tra Ward and An Duong Lotus Lake in Thuy Xuan Ward, along with numerous other lotus-themed attractions that showcase the unique beauty of Hue’s lotus season.
