The morning after an impressive opening night for the Hue Festival left a special impression on the public, on June 8th the director of the Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism paid a visit to the hotel where a group of Thai tourists from Indochina Unique Tourist Company were staying to express his gratitude.
At the hotel in the city of Hue, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the provincial Department of Tourism, warmly greeted and sincerely thanked each of the 30 visitors from Thailand.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the provincial Department of Tourism sincerely thanked each of the 30 Thai visitors
This was the only tourist group honored by the Hue Festival organizers with complimentary tickets to attend the grand opening ceremony of the Hue Festival 2024 on the evening of June 7th.
Mr. Phuc stated that the presence of Visit Indochina Company and their 30 guests at the largest annual cultural tourism event in Hue demonstrates the imperial capital's strong appeal.
He said this was also deserved recognition for the tourism industry's efforts to develop Hue as a safe destination imbued with local character and identity.
"It was unfortunate that rain fell during the opening night, causing some inconvenience. However, we did our best to ensure visitors could fully experience and be impressed by a complete opening ceremony while capturing beautiful memories of the imperial capital of Hue.
Thank you to the guests from Thailand and Visit Indochina's efforts to connect and bring more visitors to Hue. You have helped spread positive images of Hue, promoting our destination and contributing to the province's socio-economic development," Mr. Phuc said.
After hearing the tourism director's remarks, the group expressed their gratitude along with some surprise.

The Thai delegation felt an immense sense of pride and joy at being able to partake in such a significant cultural event.
Some felt the rain during the opening was not so much an inconvenience, but rather allowed them to experience the distinctive "specialty" of the rainfall in the former imperial capital.
The guests shared that they had come to Hue as part of a central Vietnam tour itinerary, full of one surprise after another - being immersed in the lively, colorful atmosphere at the peak of Hue's biggest cultural tourism festival.
Not only were they fortunate enough to receive complimentary opening ceremony tickets, but Director Nguyen Van Phuc took the remarkable step of visiting their hotel immediately after the opening night to personally express gratitude.

The opening of the Hue Festival was a resounding success and beautifully executed despite minor weather-related setbacks
On journeys introducing guests to Vietnam, Visit Indochina Company always strives to ensure visitors can authentically experience the cultural richness of each destination. Rather than just promoting images of the Vietnamese homeland, these guests become able to truly feel the warm, sincere hospitality from local authorities and the tourism sector in each region. This then allows them to spread word among friends worldwide about the peaceful, visitor-friendly nature of Vietnam.
