Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 Announced, Visit Indochina Selected as One of 10 Official Ticket Distributors

Introducing Da Nang Fireworks Festival 2025, the organizing committee announces this will be the longest-running festival with the most competing teams to date.

The opening night of DIFF 2025 is scheduled for May 31st.

Special announcement: Visit Indochina has been selected as one of only 10 companies to serve as general ticket distributors for the 2025 Fireworks Festival.

As a trusted partner, Visit Indochina offers premium services and seamless ticketing for both domestic and international groups, ensuring a smooth and memorable festival experience.  The festival will take place at two main locations: the Han River Port (fireworks launch site) and Tran Hung Dao Street’s riverside promenade (artistic performances).

Sungroup - the co-organizer of DIFF 2025 - has implemented a strategy to increase ticket sales to international tour groups, ensuring visitors can participate in Da Nang's grandest event of the year.

DIFF 2025 Schedule

DIFF 2025 features 10 competing teams from: Finland, United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, China, and Vietnam (2 teams).

The opening night is scheduled for May 31st, featuring Vietnam Team 1 versus Finland under the theme Legacy of Culture.

 DIFF 2025 will feature the participation of 10 teams from Vietnam, Finland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China.

Subsequent nights will be held every Saturday in the following weeks (with a one-week break before the finals):

• Opening Night (May 31):  Theme: Legacy of Culture - Vietnam 1 vs. Finland

• June 7:  Theme: The Art of Creativity - Vietnam 2 vs. Poland

• June 14:  Theme: The Path of Unity - Canada vs. China

• June 21: Theme: Sustainable Development - Portugal vs. United Kingdom

• June 28: Theme: Powered by Innovation - South Korea vs. Italy

• July 12: Theme: The New Rising Era – Grand Finale

  
  

Venues include the Han River Port area (firing site) and Tran Hung Dao Street sidewalk area (artistic performances). Each team will have 20 minutes to present their fireworks display according to the designated theme.

Ticket prices start from 1,000,000 VND depending on grandstand location. Tickets will be distributed primarily through travel agencies, tourism platforms, online booking systems, diff.vn website, and the Sun Paradise Land app.

Fireworks Festival: Da Nang's Tourism Pride

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, stated that the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival is "not just a magnet attracting tourists during summer" but has established itself as a world-class festival through 12 editions since 2008.

Additionally, numerous exciting events will be organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Da Nang's liberation.

This event has gradually helped transform Da Nang into Asia's leading city for events and festivals.

"Every summer, when the International Fireworks Festival takes place, the city by the Han River becomes an attractive entertainment hub. DIFF is also one of the reasons why tourist numbers in Da Nang continue to increase each year. In 2008, when the Fireworks Festival was first held, Da Nang welcomed just over 1.2 million visitors, but now this number has reached nearly 11 million. Tourism revenue has increased to nearly 38,000 billion VND. DIFF has provided a strong boost to Da Nang's tourism, achieving remarkable growth," said Ms. Thi.

New Features at DIFF 2025

Mr. Huynh Nam Thang - General Director of Sun Group Central Region, noted that after 12 editions, Da Nang needs more systematic and decisive investment to expand the festival globally.

Regarding this year's program, Mr. Thang confirmed thorough preparations are underway. This is the first year with 10 competing teams, and the fireworks display period will be the longest in its 12-edition history.

To further boost tourism, Da Nang will invite additional teams from key markets such as South Korea this year. Sungroup is also developing accompanying tourism programs during the festival period.

"With the theme 'Da Nang - The New Rising Era, DIFF 2025 will deliver peak experiences and emotional moments for audiences through breakthrough technology combined with impressive artistic, musical, and sports performances," Mr. Thang emphasized.

At the same time, Sun World Ba Na Hills will host vibrant floral festivals.
