30 Thai Tourists of Visit Indochina Honored with Tickets to Hue Festival 2024 Opening

Booking a tour to experience the best travel season in Central Vietnam, a group of 30 Thai guests of Indochina Unique Tourist Co. had the honor of receiving complimentary tickets to the Hue Festival 2024 opening ceremony from the organizers.

Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy - Director of Indochina Unique Tourist Company - said representatives from the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Department of Tourism had contacted them and gifted invitation tickets to the Hue Festival 2024 opening for the group of 30 Thai tourists who booked their tour through Indochina.

A Surprise Gift for Visiting Hue Festival

This special gift aims to recognize and commend the efforts Indochina Unique Tourist Company has made in accompanying and developing Thua Thien Hue's tourism industry over time.

Notably, during the 2023 Hue Tourism Awards, Indochina Unique Tourist Co. was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Department of Tourism for outstanding achievements in tourism activities, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thua Thien Hue province.

According to the schedule, after attending the Hue Festival opening night on June 7th, the tour group will visit famous attractions like Thien Mu Pagoda, the An Dinh Palace , the Imperial Citadel, and more.

Hue Festival Opening on June 7th

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, said the Hue Festival 2024 week will last from June 7th to 12th with a series of special artistic events.

Notably, for the first time after extensive renovations, a Hue Festival will be held at the Kien Trung Palace - one of the 5 most important structures on the Nguyen Dynasty's sacred axis. Over the 6 days, Hue City will organize 8 event series.

First is the "Cultural Colors" street festival in the afternoons of June 8th and 10th, featuring dance, music, street performances, parades, folk opera, and street festivals showcasing cultures from different regions and countries.

From June 8th to 11th, performances by 12 troupes from 7 countries like France, Spain, Japan, Canada, South Korea, and China will take place at the community stage at Hue National College Square and March 3rd Park.

The "Trinh Cong Son - The Found Love" music program will be held at 6pm on June 9th at the Kien Trung Palace stage featuring many contemporary Vietnamese artists.

Additionally, other festivals will be organized such as the Light Festival, Beer Festival, Vegetarian Food Festival, Flower Lantern Festival, and the "Tam Giang Waves" festival day. The Hue Festival 2024 week will conclude with an artistic performance at 8pm on June 12th.

The newly renovated Kien Trung Palace is considered a successful preservation effort in maintaining its original appearance.

It is one of the 5 most important palace structures in the Nguyen Dynasty's system of religious buildings. Built in 1921 and completed in 1923 under King Khai Dinh, the palace was completely destroyed during the 1947 war, leaving only the foundation. Renovation began in February 2019 and reopened to visitors this February.
