Visit Indochina Welcomes Two Large MICE Groups from Thailand

With continuous efforts in destination promotion and marketing, Visit Indochina has successfully welcomed two major MICE delegations from one of Central Vietnam’s most important international markets – Thailand – to Danang in recent months.

According to Mr. Nguyễn Sơn Thủy, Director of Visit Indochina, from September 26–28, more than 170 guests from PICO Instrument Solutions (Thailand) visited Da Nang as part of a business and leisure trip coordinated by Visit Indochina’s Thai partners. To express heartfelt hospitality, the Visit Indochina leadership team personally greeted the group at Danang International Airport, marking the start of their vibrant incentive journey.

During their stay, the Thai guests enjoyed iconic attractions such as Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge, Son Tra Peninsula, and the ancient town of Hoi An. Their trip combined sightseeing with business sessions, team-building activities, and a gala dinner at a coastal resort — demonstrating Visit Indochina’s ability to design comprehensive and engaging MICE programs.

Shortly after, from October 6–8, another 150 guests from SCG Group — one of Thailand’s largest conglomerates — arrived in Danang for a corporate incentive program. The itinerary included visits to Marble Mountains, Ba Na Hills, Dragon Bridge, and a series of internal events and culinary experiences celebrating Central Vietnam’s hospitality.

Mr. Thuy noted that Thailand currently accounts for over 50% of Visit Indochina’s total inbound market, making it the company’s top priority for long-term development. “With constant destination refreshment and seamless organization, Danang is becoming a preferred MICE destination for Thai travelers,” he shared.

Welcoming more than 320 guests from Thailand in just a few weeks not only affirms Danang’s growing appeal but also highlights Visit Indochina’s strong capacity in managing large-scale incentive and corporate groups.

Visit Indochina Demonstrates Outstanding MICE Capabilities

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, from the beginning of 2025 to September, the city welcomed 14.4 million visitors, including 5.8 million international and 8.6 million domestic travelers.

Thai incentive travelers move toward their buses, beginning their sightseeing and corporate activities arranged by Visit Indochina.
