Visit Indochina Welcomes First Guests to Da Nang for International Fireworks Festival

Visit Indochina has officially welcomed the first international guests arriving via Da Nang International Airport to attend the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025. These special guests, hailing from Thailand and Malaysia, are among more than 1,000 visitors scheduled to enjoy this spectacular event.

On the evening of May 31, these guests will be treated to a mesmerizing show of lights and sounds illuminating the skies over Da Nang.

According to representatives from Visit Indochina and the Organizing Committee of DIFF 2025, all preparations for the grand opening night have been completed. A newly constructed grandstand with a capacity of 10,200 seats—the largest and most elaborate setup in the event’s history—is now ready to welcome audiences.

Thanks to Visit Indochina’s trusted reputation and strategic partnership with Sun World, premium seating has been specially arranged for the first guests, ensuring a top-tier viewing experience.

Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Visit Indochina, shared that the company has been selected by Sun Group—the co-organizer of DIFF 2025—as one of the ten official ticket distributors for this year’s festival.

With a dedicated and professional team, Visit Indochina has been actively promoting Da Nang tourism and distributing fireworks tickets through its extensive partner network, reaching more than 1,000 international travelers.

Ahead of the DIFF 2025 opening night, the first groups of guests have arrived and checked into accommodations across Da Nang. They also had the opportunity to explore local attractions prior to the show.

At 8:10 PM on May 31, the festival will kick off with a thrilling competition between Team Vietnam 1 and reigning champion Team Finland. This year’s DIFF will not only feature an expanded grandstand but also incorporate cutting-edge interactive technologies that allow attendees to enjoy real-time fireworks displays and explore images of Da Nang via a dedicated smartphone app.

In addition to the fireworks, guests traveling with Visit Indochina will embark on guided tours to top regional attractions such as Hoi An, Ba Na Hills, Dragon Bridge, and the Marble Mountains.

Starting at 8:00 PM on May 31, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) will officially open with a dazzling match-up between the host team Vietnam 1 and defending champions Finland.This year’s festival features a record 10 competing teams: Vietnam (2 teams), Finland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China.Running every weekend evening from May 31 to July 12, DIFF 2025 is the longest and most competitive edition to date. Taking place at the height of summer, it promises to make Da Nang a must-visit destination for travelers from around the globe.
