A group of Filipino students recently embarked on an educational field trip to Bangkok, combining academic exploration with cultural experiences and insights into local life. The programme is part of Visit Indochina's overseas tour operations, which extend beyond Vietnam.

Recently, a delegation from St. Ignatius Technical Institute of Business and Arts, the Philippines, embarked on an educational field trip to Bangkok, Thailand, organised in partnership with Visit Indochina.

One of the highlights of the programme was a visit to the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), where the students had the opportunity to explore the university environment, learn about its educational programmes and gain insights into university life in Thailand.

During the visit, students also engaged in discussions and learned about the differences between educational systems across countries, gaining broader perspectives on academic opportunities and future career orientations.

Beyond the educational activities, the delegation also explored some of Bangkok's most well-known attractions and surrounding destinations.

At Wat Pho, the students discovered the distinctive features of Thai architecture, culture and Buddhist traditions.

The journey continued to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where trading activities take place aboard boats navigating through the network of canals.

Another highlight was Rom Hub Railway Market, famous for its unique scene in which vendors quickly fold back their awnings and move their goods whenever a train passes through the market, before resuming business moments later.

In addition to cultural attractions, the delegation also spent time exploring shopping and entertainment areas, gaining a closer look at everyday life in Thailand.

The trip provided Filipino students with an opportunity to experience an international educational environment while discovering the culture, lifestyle and tourism offerings of another Southeast Asian country.
