To introduce Vietnam’s tourism trends and the latest policies, on April 8, Visit Indochina organized a webinar delivering updates on Vietnam’s 2026 summer travel season, specifically for partners in the Philippines.
The program was chaired by Visit Indochina Director Nguyen Son Thuy, with participation from Philippine partners and experts from the aviation and tourism sectors.

The Philippine market holds particular importance for Visit Indochina
In his remarks to our esteemed travel partners of Visit Indochina in the Philippines, Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy stated that among the 10 international markets the company traditionally focuses on, the Philippines is a particularly important one that Visit Indochina consistently prioritizes.
In the Philippines, Visit Indochina has also established long-standing relationships with many major travel partners. From the early days, partners in this country have always worked closely and accompanied Visit Indochina up to now.

Providing an overview of Vietnam tourism to Philippine clients, Mr. Thuy noted that in 2025, Vietnam welcomed more than 482,000 visitors from the Philippines - an increase of 81.3% compared to 2024 (out of a total of 21.2 million international arrivals to Vietnam). This is a record figure both in scale and growth rate.
Currently, with an extensive flight network, Philippine travelers can easily reach Vietnam via major hubs such as Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Thuy added that in the coming period, the company will further focus on developing and better serving Philippine travelers to Vietnam.
Attractive incentives during Vietnam’s 2026 summer peak season
At the event, representatives of Visit Indochina presented trends and shifts in Vietnam’s tourism market in 2026.
Notably, amid global volatility, Vietnam is emerging as a safe and distinctive destination. The country is implementing new strategic infrastructure projects to attract tourists, such as Long Thanh International Airport and facilities preparing for APEC 2027 in Phu Quoc.
In Central Vietnam, destinations like Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An continue to host events that draw international visitors.
Meanwhile, Southern Vietnam - particularly Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh City, has long received significant investment from Sun Group in tourism infrastructure, events, festivals, and nighttime economic activities, creating many experiences for visitors.
During the program, Visit Indochina representatives also updated their latest product portfolio and special promotional programs tailored specifically for Philippine partners.
Tour packages across the South, Central, and North, golf tours, as well as MICE tourism policies designed specifically for the Philippine market, were also introduced to partners.
Also during the April 8 session, representatives of travel companies directly raised questions related to policies, destination information, and exclusive incentives from Visit Indochina. These details were thoroughly addressed and evaluated positively by partners.
At the end of the program, agents from the Philippines stated they would accelerate efforts to bring more tourists to Vietnam this summer, particularly to Central Vietnam to experience the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival taking place from May 31, 2026.
