Visit Indochina hosts 60 top Thai travel partners on Tam Dao – Yen Tu – Ha Long Famtrip

As part of a series of tourism promotion activities in Quang Ninh, Visit Indochina has recently organized a famtrip to key destinations for 60 premium travel partners from Thailand.

Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport at noon, the group was welcomed by the Visit Indochina team and transferred to Tam Dao. Here, the group visited the Tam Dao Stone Church, a French-era architectural landmark and a popular stop for tourists. The Tam Dao area features mountainous terrain and a cool climate, making it suitable for short-term leisure stays. The group stayed overnight at a 4-star hotel.

On the second day, guests continued to experience the local atmosphere through sightseeing and café activities. The group then traveled to Yen Tu, a heritage site associated with Truc Lam Zen Buddhism. Here, the group stayed at the 5-star Legacy Yen Tu Resort.




The program in Yen Tu included activities such as themed afternoon tea, exploration of the resort’s architecture, and learning about the Truc Lam Zen sect. In the evening, guests dined at the resort’s restaurant and attended a traditional cultural performance at Yen Tu Village, showcasing the cultural life of the Northeast region through music and performances.

On the third day, the group traveled to Ha Long. Here, guests experienced a Ha Long Bay cruise, visiting Sung Sot Cave and Titop Island, combined with lunch onboard. These destinations are well-developed tourist sites, attracting a large number of domestic and international visitors.




In the afternoon, the group continued to visit Ngoc Rong Cave and attended a tourism product workshop in Quang Ninh. The program featured a combination of light shows and 3D mapping technology, introducing new tourism products of the province. The group stayed overnight at 4 to 5-star hotels in Ha Long.




On the final day, the group had breakfast and returned to Hanoi, stopping to visit Mega Grand World before heading to the airport, concluding the journey.

The three destinations in the itinerary were selected based on accessibility and representativeness. Tam Dao is a mountain retreat near Hanoi, offering convenient access. Yen Tu represents spiritual and historical tourism associated with Truc Lam Zen Buddhism. Ha Long is a major coastal tourism hub with a diverse range of services, from sightseeing to luxury accommodation.
