The Myanmar Aviation & Tourism Industry Forum was organized by the Myanmar Tourism Federation, with Visit Indochina participating as the event’s main sponsor.

Presenting the vibrant and diverse picture of Vietnamese tourism in recent years to H.E. U Maung Myint, Myanmar’s Union Minister for Hotels, Tourism and Culture and over 200 industry partners, Mr. Thủy said Vietnam is becoming an increasingly popular destination among Myanmar travelers thanks to its convenient travel distance, reasonable costs, and diverse tourism experiences.

Over the years, with support from government authorities, ministries, and comprehensive cooperation from partners, Visit Indochina has continuously expanded its operations in the Myanmar market, which remains one of the company’s key strategic markets.

Beyond business activities, Visit Indochina has also maintained close connections with local authorities and the business community in Myanmar.

U Maung Myint expressed his appreciation and admiration for the company’s contributions, while also voicing his hope for stronger cooperation between businesses from both countries in the future. Speaking about recent travel trends, Myanmar travel companies noted that travelers from the country are increasingly favoring short-haul trips that combine leisure, cultural exploration, shopping, and culinary experiences.

Destinations such as Da Nang, Hoi An, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, and Ha Long Bay are considered highly suitable for middle-income travelers and family groups.

In addition to its scenic landscapes and rapidly developing tourism infrastructure, Vietnam is also recognized for its safe travel environment, flexible services, and extensive flight connectivity across Southeast Asia.

These factors are considered key drivers behind the recovery and growth of Myanmar tourist arrivals to Vietnam following the slowdown in international travel markets in recent years.

During the forum, Myanmar’s Minister of Hotels and Tourism, H.E. U Maung Myint, personally presented a certificate recognizing Visit Indochina’s contributions to international tourism cooperation and connectivity in the Myanmar market.
