The participating institutions expressed their intention to expand opportunities for students to undertake internships and gain hands-on experience at Vietnamese seaports, contributing to stronger professional skills and a deeper understanding of the international logistics industry.

Da Nang Port is one of the key logistics gateways in Central Vietnam, strategically positioned along the East–West Economic Corridor connecting Vietnam with Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. The port system includes Tien Sa Port and Song Han Port, with Tien Sa recognized as a modern deep-water port capable of handling vessels of up to 70,000 DWT.

Handling millions of tons of cargo annually, Da Nang Port plays an important role in regional and international trade while also welcoming international cruise ships. To further expand maritime connectivity, Vietnam is developing the Lien Chieu International Port project at the foot of Hai Van Pass, expected to become one of the region’s most modern seaports.
