Visit Indochina has been honored by Cebu Pacific at the 20th Eagle Wings Awards, an annual event organized by the Philippines’ largest low-cost airline to recognize travel partners that have contributed to the development of its route network and tourism markets.

Official invitation from Cebu Pacific to Visit Indochina for the 20th Eagle Wings Awards, marking two decades of partnership with travel industry partners.
The award ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Founder and Director of Visit Indochina. This year’s event marked the 20th anniversary of the Eagle Wings Awards, bringing together tourism enterprises from across the region.
Among the honored companies was Visit Indochina, ranked among the Top 10 tour operators bringing international visitors to Vietnam. The Philippines is one of the company’s key source markets, where Visit Indochina maintains an extensive network of personnel and strategic partners.
According to Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, receiving the Eagle Wings Award reflects the long-standing partnership between Visit Indochina and Cebu Pacific Air, which began when the airline launched its first direct flight from Manila to Da Nang.
The route was introduced to meet growing travel demand between the Philippines and central Vietnam, while also enhancing regional connectivity for travelers across Southeast Asia.
Beyond inbound tourism operations, Mr. Thuy noted that Visit Indochina works closely with airlines to develop tour products linked to direct air routes, including those serving the Philippine market.

A Cebu Pacific representative speaks at a partner event, highlighting the airline’s vision and cooperation with travel companies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Cebu Pacific Air is currently the largest low-cost airline in the Philippines, operating an extensive domestic and international network across the Asia-Pacific region. In Vietnam, the airline operates flights connecting Manila with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang.
These routes have helped increase the number of Filipino tourists visiting Vietnam, while also offering additional travel options for Vietnamese travelers and international passengers transiting through the Philippines.
Looking ahead, Mr. Thuy said Visit Indochina will continue cooperating with Cebu Pacific Air to develop market-specific travel products, aiming to bring more visitors from the Philippines to Vietnam.
As part of the award program, the Visit Indochina delegation is scheduled to take part in anniversary activities in Cebu from March 10 to 12, while holding meetings with partners to discuss market development plans for the next phase.
