Hanoi – Vietnam’s thousand-year-old capital, rich in culture and history was chosen by Visit Indochina as the starting point of the journey, creating a memorable first impression of Vietnam for the group members.

A Culture-Rich Journey in Hanoi

In Hanoi, the group visited Ba Dinh Square, a landmark closely associated with many important historical events of Vietnam, while also exploring the surrounding architecture and cultural landscape.

The journey continued to Tran Quoc Pagoda – one of the oldest pagodas in Hanoi – where the group explored the temple grounds and learned about traditional Buddhist architecture.

At Hoan Kiem Lake, the visitors enjoyed a walking tour around the lake and its surrounding landmarks, while observing the daily activities of both locals and tourists.

Hanoi’s Old Quarter was one of the highlights that left a lasting impression on the group. Many were amazed to discover such an ancient and tranquil atmosphere preserved right in the heart of a modern and bustling city.

The group then joined a walking tour through Hanoi’s traditional craft streets, experiencing local businesses, street food culture, and everyday life. At Dong Xuan Market, visitors explored the traditional shopping area and browsed local goods and souvenirs.

The group also stopped by the famous Train Street café area, experiencing the unique atmosphere and watching trains pass through the narrow residential neighborhood along the railway tracks.
