As part of a technical survey and professional exchange program in Southern Vietnam, a delegation from the Thailand Structural Steel Society (TSSS) visited several leading steel and structural steel enterprises while also exploring prominent cultural and historical landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program was coordinated by Visit Indochina with the aim of strengthening business connections, facilitating knowledge exchange and promoting cooperation between the steel industries of Vietnam and Thailand.
During the multi-day itinerary across Southern Vietnam, the delegation conducted site visits to HD Steel Factory in Tay Ninh Province, Vinsteel Vingal Factory in Dong Nai Province, Dai Dung An Ha Factory and the HD Steel Vietnam Office in Ho Chi Minh City.

These enterprises are actively engaged in the production, fabrication, supply of structural steel solutions for industrial, infrastructure and construction projects in both domestic and international markets.
At each facility, delegates gained first-hand insights into manufacturing processes, quality management systems, fabrication capabilities and technological solutions currently adopted by Vietnamese companies.
The working sessions also provided valuable opportunities for representatives from both countries to exchange experiences regarding technical standards, emerging trends in the structural steel industry and potential areas of cooperation as regional supply chains continue to expand.
Through these visits and discussions, participants obtained a more comprehensive understanding of Vietnam’s manufacturing capabilities, covering the entire value chain from design and fabrication to quality control and project execution.

Southern Vietnam, particularly the Ho Chi Minh City economic region, is home to a dense concentration of mechanical engineering, manufacturing facilities, heavy industrial zones and one of the country's most dynamic economic hubs.
Alongside the professional program, Visit Indochina arranged cultural and sightseeing activities that allowed the delegation to discover some of Ho Chi Minh City’s most iconic historical and architectural landmarks.
One of the highlights was a visit to the Central Post Office, a more than 130-year-old architectural landmark renowned for its distinctive French colonial design and recognized today as one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions.
The delegation also explored the area surrounding Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, a late nineteenth-century structure notable for its Romanesque and Gothic architectural influences, as well as the spacious public square at the heart of the city.
In response to the delegation’s specific requirements, Visit Indochina carefully prepared the program and worked closely with host organizations and partners to ensure participants received the most relevant information for their professional purposes.
The itinerary was designed to combine industry-focused surveys, business networking opportunities and local cultural experiences. This approach not only enables international delegations to gain practical insights into Vietnam’s industrial capabilities but also contributes to promoting the country as an attractive destination for business exchange, professional cooperation and future investment opportunities.
Following the program, many delegates expressed their sincere appreciation to the host organizations that welcomed the group throughout the journey. Participants also highly praised Visit Indochina’s experienced guides, professional tour management and in-depth expertise in organizing specialized business and technical programs.
