The program, organized by the Faculty of Law - Chulalongkorn University in collaboration with Thailand’s Ministry of Interior, focuses on local governance, smart cities and international cooperation.
The delegation was coordinated by Thai partners in collaboration with Visit Indochina for transportation and on-site experiences. The visit aims to share practical experiences and explore cooperation opportunities among stakeholders.
At a tourism working session held at Novotel Danang, representatives from the Da Nang Department of Tourism, Sun Hospitality & Entertainment Group and Visit Indochina directly exchanged insights with the delegation on tourism product development.

According to representatives, beyond the distinctive values of a coastal city, Da Nang’s tourism strategy in the coming period will focus on leveraging local identity rather than simple expansion. The city benefits from its central location among neighboring world cultural heritage sites. It is also recognized for its strong climate change adaptation and effective regional management.

Notably, several tourism products have emerged closely linked with the urban core, such as the Ba Na Hills model, which organizes services in an integrated chain while maintaining strong control over visitor experience.
In the urban sector, the delegation had a working session with the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology. The city introduced operational systems including disaster management, vessel monitoring and real-time urban operations. A key highlight is the integration of data to support comprehensive city management.

The delegation also visited FPT University Da Nang to discuss education and training. Both sides explored program collaboration, academic exchange and human resource development for the regional market.

At the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority, discussions focused on governance models, investment attraction and the role of technology in urban development. Exchanges emphasized the linkage between industry, urban planning and human resources.
