Philippines Delegation Visits Education and Business Institutions in Ho Chi Minh City
A delegation of professors and doctoral researchers from the University of Mindanao, Philippines, recently took part in a field trip in Ho Chi Minh City, exploring Vietnam’s postgraduate education, industrial development, logistics and green building sectors.

The programme was organised and coordinated by Visit Indochina, combining academic exchange, practical business insights and professional engagement.
During the field trip, the delegation met with representatives of educational institutions and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City. Professors and doctoral researchers were directly welcomed by CEOs and senior leaders of partner organisations, who shared insights and engaged in discussions related to their respective areas of expertise.

At the Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam (AITCV), the delegation exchanged views on postgraduate education, research and opportunities for academic collaboration. Discussions focused on educational programmes, research activities and connections among higher education institutions across the region.
The delegation also visited BW Industrial Development JSC to gain insights into industrial and logistics development, business strategies and the Vietnamese market. The discussions provided perspectives on management and business operations in the local context.
At GreenViet Green Building Consultancy, the participants explored sustainable construction and green building practices. The topic was incorporated into the programme to provide the delegation with a broader understanding of emerging sectors and practices being developed in Vietnam.

Alongside the professional sessions, the delegation also had time to experience Ho Chi Minh City, engage with the local community and discover aspects of Vietnamese culture and everyday life.
By combining professional exchanges with first-hand experiences, the field trip provided participants with opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s education, business environment and development landscape.
The programme also created opportunities for professors and doctoral researchers from the University of Mindanao to connect with representatives of Vietnamese educational institutions and businesses, contributing to greater professional and academic exchange between the two sides.
