A group of 22 participants, including 21 students and one lecturer from the Faculty of Computer Engineering at San Agustin University (Iloilo, Philippines), recently completed a study trip to Northern Vietnam with a customized itinerary designed exclusively by Visit Indochina.

One notable highlight of the journey was the flexibility in its organization. Academic activities, site visits, and networking sessions were well-balanced, allowing students to both acquire professional knowledge and experience real-world practices.

According to the group representative, the itinerary was adjusted to suit learning needs, with each activity lasting approximately 2-4 hours, ensuring sufficient depth without causing overload.

At Fansipan, the group participated in an experiential workshop set in a majestic natural environment, where the “Roof of Indochina” was conquered.

Beyond academic learning, students also had the opportunity to admire mountainous landscapes at an altitude of over 3,100 meters, featuring diverse ecosystems and distinctive climate conditions.

The visit to Trapacosa Farm provided practical insights into high-tech agriculture. Models such as smart greenhouses and data-driven automated systems were introduced in a visual and engaging manner, helping students better understand the digital transformation trends in agriculture, which is an industry growing at approximately 8 to 10% annually in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, the exchange session at Phenikaa University was conducted in an open format, encouraging dialogue and sharing. Over 30 questions related to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and big data were raised, demonstrating thorough preparation from both sides.

The journey concluded with a networking activity at SAVYINT, where students were exposed to a real-world technology business environment.

Visit Indochina also arranged direct discussions with industry experts, helping students gain a clearer understanding of career pathways in the field.

With a well-structured yet flexible approach, the trip not only met academic objectives but also delivered a comprehensive travel experience, leaving a positive impression on all participants.
