In recent days, Visit Indochina had the pleasure of welcoming a group of travelers from the Philippines to explore and experience the vibrant destinations of Da Nang. The group arrived during one of the most exciting periods of the year, coinciding with the spectacular Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026.

Warm Welcome for Philippine Travelers at Da Nang International Airport

Throughout their multi-day journey, the guests were divided into two groups to enjoy a variety of signature tourism products and experiences in Da Nang and its surrounding areas.

At Ba Na Hills, visitors explored charming European-inspired architecture, experienced the world-renowned cable car system, visited the iconic Golden Bridge and enjoyed the refreshing mountain climate atop Chua Mountain.

One of the most popular stops among the group was Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula. From this scenic location, guests enjoyed panoramic views of Da Nang City, My Khe Beach and Da Nang Bay while learning more about the region’s cultural and spiritual heritage.

Exploring Da Nang’s Iconic Landmarks: Dragon Bridge and APEC Park

Leaving Da Nang behind, the group continued their journey to the ancient town of Hoi An, where they wandered through its charming yellow-painted streets, admired centuries-old architecture and immersed themselves in the rich cultural atmosphere of Central Vietnam.

Another highlight was the basket boat experience in the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest Ecotourism Area, a destination located in a village recently recognized among the “Most Beautiful Villages in the World.” The activity provided visitors with a unique opportunity to discover local life and natural surroundings.

Discovering the Timeless Charm of Hoi An Ancient Town

In the evenings, guests explored Da Nang’s vibrant city center, visiting famous landmarks such as the Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge, APEC Park and the scenic Han River waterfront. The city’s modern urban landscape and artistic riverside lighting left a strong impression on many first-time visitors.

Beyond sightseeing activities, the group also enjoyed a variety of local specialties, including Quang noodles, fresh rice paper rolls with pork, fresh seafood and popular Central Vietnamese street food. Shopping, entertainment and premium tourism services were also incorporated into the itinerary.

Choosing to visit Da Nang at the end of May, the travelers spent their days discovering the city’s renowned attractions before being escorted by the Visit Indochina team to the grandstand area in the evening to witness the breathtaking performances of light and color at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 along the Han River.

Now an annual signature event, DIFF has evolved over nearly two decades into one of Da Nang’s most powerful tourism brands and one of the region’s most anticipated festivals. On average, tens of thousands of visitors gather each fireworks night to enjoy the spectacular displays.

Da Nang Tourism Continues to Reach New Visitor Records
