Following the event, Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy – CEO of Visit Indochina – personally led a famtrip for 64 travel representatives to explore popular destinations in Ho Chi Minh, Mui Ne, Da Lat.
This famtour is part of a series of carefully curated Southern Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City - Mui Ne - Da Lat) itineraries designed to appeal to travelers from Vietnam's traditional source markets.
According to Mr. Thuy, the potential of the Philippine travel market is significant, and Visit Indochina has been actively expanding its local partnerships to tap into this growing interest.
To mark the launch of two new direct flight routes connecting the Philippines and Ho Chi Minh City, Visit Indochina organized the webinar to provide the latest updates on new destinations tailored to this emerging market.
During the event, 240 participants from the Philippines were introduced to the most up-to-date information on Vietnam tourism, including unique and newly developed attractions, particularly concentrated in the southern region.
The addition of two direct flight routes between the Philippines and Ho Chi Minh City makes it easier than ever for travelers from the archipelago to visit destinations such as Ho Chi Minh, Mui Ne, Da Lat, Vung Tau and Tay Ninh.
“As part of our strategy to expand into new markets and enhance service capacity, Visit Indochina is also increasing the number of tour packages available to better accommodate travelers from the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and beyond,” Mr. Thuy said.
“For Philippine tourists in particular, we’ve previously operated many tours to Northern and Central Vietnam. However, there haven’t been many opportunities for them to experience Southern Vietnam. That’s why we’re now launching some of our most exciting services to draw attention to these new destinations.”
