From May 12 to 16, a 31-member delegation from Malaysia — including representatives of international travel agencies and two key opinion leaders (KOLs) — visited Northern Vietnam on a 5-day, 4-night tour arranged by Visit Indochina.

At Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, founder of Visit Indochina, personally welcomed the group and presented flowers to mark the occasion.

Mr. Thuy shared that Malaysia is one of Visit Indochina’s ten key traditional markets, and the company has long prioritized strong relationships and high-quality service for its Malaysian partners and clients. This visit was an opportunity for Visit Indochina to demonstrate its excellence in hospitality, cultural expertise, multilingual tour guidance, and customer service.

During the visit, the Malaysian guests explored Hanoi’s Old Quarter, enjoyed a cyclo ride around Hoan Kiem Lake, and visited famous landmarks such as Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the iconic “train street” café area.

The group also traveled to UNESCO World Heritage site Ha Long Bay, where they experienced Vietnam’s natural beauty and enjoyed regional culinary highlights.

Among the guests were two well-known Malaysian personalities: DJ Anson and MC Emcee Angeline.

Emcee Angeline is a professional bilingual host and motivational speaker widely known in Malaysia as “Angeline PowerBank” for her positive energy and uplifting spirit. With over 15 years of experience hosting events in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, she has worked with major broadcasters like 8FM and One FM. Angeline is also the author of two bestselling books on positivity and personal growth, and she has built a social media following of more than 250,000, including nearly 200,000 followers on Facebook.

After leaving Melody FM, he transitioned into travel vlogging with his platform “Anson Trip,” where he shares travel stories and experiences. His personal Facebook page has attracted over 110,000 followers.

This visit highlights the growing interest in Vietnam from the Malaysian market and reflects Visit Indochina’s continued commitment to promoting high-quality, culturally rich travel experiences throughout the region.
