and meaningful community activities across Northern Vietnam
Unlike conventional sightseeing programs, the itinerary designed by Visit Indochina combined destination experiences, local culture, group engagement and meaningful community activities throughout the journey.
Memorable Experiences in Hanoi and Sapa
The Malaysian MICE group began their Northern Vietnam journey
with experiences across Hanoi, Sapa and Fansipan
In Hanoi, the group experienced the Hanoi Jeep Tour, exploring local streets, historical landmarks and daily urban life by Jeep. The activity offered international visitors a more authentic perspective on the capital compared to traditional city tours.
The delegation also enjoyed a private Water Puppet Show, allowing guests to experience one of Vietnam’s most iconic traditional art forms in an exclusive setting designed specifically for the group.

One of the most memorable parts of the journey was the series of activities in Sapa and Fansipan. The group joined a trekking experience at Cat Cat Village, where they explored H’Mong culture, traditional handicrafts and the daily life of local ethnic communities.
Village tours and walking experiences are becoming increasingly popular among Southeast Asian travelers thanks to the opportunity to interact directly with local communities and cultural heritage.
At Fansipan, the delegation participated in a private flag ceremony at the peak of the highest mountain in Indochina while also exploring the destination’s spiritual and cultural attractions.

The journey also featured a Gala Dinner at Ban May Village, creating opportunities for group bonding and interaction among participants.
Beyond tourism activities, TRR Group collaborated with local partners to organize a charity program at Lao Chao Heritage Ethnic Minority Primary School. The support program, valued at nearly VND 150 million, included computers, lighting systems, desks, chairs and educational facilities for local students.

Growing Demand for Experiential Travel Among Malaysian MICE Groups
Among Southeast Asian markets, Malaysian MICE travelers are increasingly prioritizing experiential travel programs instead of traditional sightseeing-focused itineraries.
Activities such as trekking, village exploration, outdoor gala dinners, team-building activities and community interaction are becoming key components in group travel programs. These experiences not only enhance visitor engagement but also create additional value for destinations.
Northern Vietnam is considered highly suitable for MICE and international group travel thanks to its diversity of landscapes, cultural experiences and tourism infrastructure. Within a single journey, travelers can experience urban life, mountain retreats, ethnic minority villages and outdoor activities.
The successful organization of the TRR Group journey also demonstrated Visit Indochina’s capability in handling large-scale MICE and group travel programs tailored for Southeast Asian markets.
