GTBA'S IMPRESSIVE FAMTRIP: DISCOVERING CENTRAL VIETNAM

Visit Indochina successfully organized a Famtrip for 22 members of the Global Travel Business Association (GTBA) to explore the beauty of Central Vietnam. The 5-night 4-day Famtrip took place from January 16-20, 2024 in Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Nam. It was sponsored by Quang Nam Tourism Association, Sun World Group, and TTC Hospitality - company’s strategic partners.

Kickstarting the Special Journey

The direct flight from Manila to Da Nang by Cebu Pacific Airlines marked the beginning of an exciting experience for the travel agents from the Philippines. The warm welcome from Visit Indochina's team created an energetic and positive atmosphere right from the start of the trip.

Discovering Central Vietnam

As the organizer, Visit Indochina strived to provide the group with the most authentic experiences of culture, people, and nature in destinations like Hue, Da Nang, Ba Na Hills, and Hoi An Old Town. The GTBA members were visibly thrilled by the vibrant beauty of the S-shaped country.

In Hue, the group eagerly explored the beauty of the former imperial capital and its UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Sites.

Next was Da Nang, a city with pristine beaches, dazzling bridges and friendly locals. A highlight was the world-class tourist attraction of Ba Na Hills, leaving everyone in awe of its magnificent architecture and cable car system amidst the impressive natural landscape.

The Famtrip then arrived in Hoi An, where every house and street exudes the breath of the past. Right after, they immersed themselves in the energetic coconut forest of Bay Mau, creating unique experiences.

Meet-up in Vietnam’s Most Livable City

A cozy lunch in beautiful beach city of Da Nang was an opportunity for Visit Indochina’s leadership to host an intimate meet-up with the Famtrip group. Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Visit Indochina’s CEO, gave meaningful remarks: “Visit Indochina is honored to welcome and guide GTBA members on this Famtrip. We appreciate your trust and support, and hope the trip paves the way for a close partnership as we create new value for the tourism of our two countries.”

Ms. Michelle G. Taylan, President of GTBA, could not hide her surprise and satisfaction with her visit to Vietnam. Ms. Michelle was especially impressed by the culture, people and natural beauty of the S-shaped country. Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy gave special gifts to strengthen the friendship between Vietnam and the Philippines.

Commitments and Looking Ahead

The GTBA Famtrip ended with satisfaction and joy for all members. Every moment, from the impressive historical sites in Hue, to the amazing beaches in Da Nang, and the romantic atmosphere of Hoi An, contributed to unforgettable experiences. Immersing in the unique and vibrant culture of Central Vietnam left a deep impression.
