At a press event held on the morning of August 15, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang officially introduced a series of exciting tour programs running through the end of 2025. These initiatives aim to attract 17.3 million visitors to the city in 2025.
Diverse Experiences Following the Merger with Quang Nam
With the recent integration of tourism resources between Da Nang and Quang Nam, the city's tourism sector is curating a comprehensive range of experiences — from coastal resorts and cultural heritage to eco-tourism, gastronomy, vibrant festivals, and various tourism models such as MICE, wedding, and golf tourism.
Notably, during the National Day holiday (September 2), visitors will enjoy free entry to cultural and historical landmarks, including the Da Nang Museum and Marble Mountains scenic area.
On September 5, discounts of up to 50% will be offered across entertainment, dining, accommodation services, including entrance tickets to Ba Na Hills, along with numerous promotions and gifts available through the end of the year.

A Focus on the Visitor Experience
To elevate the culinary and cultural experiences of the Quang Nam - Da Nang region, the tourism department has launched two new initiatives: the "Heritage Passport" and the "Green Passport".
These passports offer travelers a themed journey through local heritage or eco-friendly experiences. Participants receive cultural souvenirs or sustainable gifts made from environmentally friendly materials, reinforcing the city’s commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism.
Enhancing Convenience for Tourists
In collaboration with partners like VNPay and TRip C, Da Nang tourism is embracing digital transformation to enhance visitor convenience. All programs now support online payments and offer both physical and digital versions of the travel passports, catering to both traditional and tech-savvy travelers.

Encouraging Repeat Visits to Da Nang
Ranked among the Top 10 Asian destinations with the highest international return rate, Da Nang is intensifying efforts to bring back previous visitors. The ongoing "I LOVE DA NANG" campaign, launched in 2020, specifically targets international tourists who have visited the city before.
Returning visitors will enjoy exclusive perks, with gifts tailored to each market, including branded items like travel bags, hats, umbrellas, and eSIMs — all highlighting Da Nang as a vibrant, welcoming destination.
Promoting in Key International Markets
From now until the end of the year, Da Nang will actively promote itself through various international and domestic tourism events, including roadshows in Malaysia and Indonesia (August 2025), and major travel fairs like ITE HCMC and Japan Expo (September 2025).
Travelers interested in these tourism stimulus programs for 2025 can contact participating travel agencies, hotels, and service providers.

Building a Friendly and Safe Tourism Environment
Beyond enriching tourism products, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also emphasizes service quality and building a safe, friendly, and civil tourism environment.
As part of this initiative, Da Nang officially launched the “Da Nang SMILE” Tourism Culture Code, which serves as a guideline for local businesses and tourists to uphold professional, courteous, and culturally appropriate behavior throughout their travel experience.
