For many years, Da Nang and Hoi An Ancient Town have consistently ranked among Vietnam’s most popular tourism destinations. With expanding air connectivity, well-developed hospitality infrastructure, and a wide range of attractions, cultural sites, traditional craft villages and heritage experiences, Central Vietnam continues to attract growing interest from international travelers.

The Philippine delegation’s first stop was the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest in Hoi An, widely known for its unique nipa palm ecosystem and community-based tourism activities.

Here, participants enjoyed basket boat rides through lush waterways lined with coconut palms, learned about the daily lives of local residents and took part in cultural performances showcasing the region’s distinctive traditions.

From Cam Thanh, the group continued to Hoi An Ancient Town. As evening fell, the heritage town was illuminated by thousands of colorful lanterns, creating the iconic atmosphere for which Hoi An is famous. Releasing floating lanterns on the Hoai River was among the most memorable experiences for many participants, offering an opportunity to immerse themselves in local culture through a uniquely authentic setting.

Beyond Hoi An, Visit Indochina’s guides introduced the delegation to some of Da Nang’s most prominent attractions, including Son Tra Peninsula and Ba Na Hills.

The delegation also spent time exploring local cuisine, shopping and experiencing the vibrant urban lifestyle of Da Nang. The combination of rich cultural heritage and modern tourism infrastructure continues to be one of the key factors behind Central Vietnam’s growing appeal.

A Gala Dinner organized by Visit Indochina provided a lively gathering for travel partners, agents and tourism industry stakeholders. Beyond networking, the event also created opportunities for participants to exchange market insights, learn more about tourism products and discuss potential areas of cooperation in the future.
