Visit Indochina’s leadership and staff share warm moments with children being cared for at Quang Châu Pagoda, Da Nang.

Located along National Highway 1A in Hoa Vang District, Quang Chau Pagoda serves not only as a spiritual site for local Buddhists but also as a safe haven for dozens of children with special or unfortunate backgrounds.

According to Venerable Minh Tinh, the pagoda is currently raising and caring for more than 50 children, including orphans, abandoned infants, and those without family support. With compassion and devotion from the nuns and Buddhist followers, the children are nurtured with love and given a chance to experience a fuller childhood despite the absence of parents.

Beyond daily care and moral guidance, the pagoda sends the children to local schools to pursue their formal education. Upon completing grade 12, each child is encouraged to choose a career path and transition into independent adulthood. Over the past decades, Quang Chau Pagoda has successfully raised thousands of children, helping them grow and integrate into society with dignity.

During the visit, Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy – Director of Visit Indochina – expressed deep admiration for the nuns' selfless dedication. He reaffirmed that alongside its business activities, Visit Indochina is committed to community-oriented programs, with staff regularly participating in initiatives to support disadvantaged groups. “This is also an opportunity to practice compassion and give back, as taught by the Buddha,” Mr. Thuy shared.
