At the 2025 Tourism Industry Deployment Conference of Hue, the Hue Department of Tourism officially honored Visit Indochina and several individuals and enterprises for their significant contributions to the city’s tourism development.

The Director of Visit Indochina is honored by the Hue Department of Tourism for outstanding contributions to promoting Hue tourism at the 2026 Tourism Task Implementation Conference.
The conference, held at the beginning of the year, took place as Hue concluded a year of remarkable growth in tourism activities, visitor arrivals, and destination promotion, reinforcing its position as one of Vietnam’s leading cultural and heritage destinations.
Among the international tour operators, Visit Indochina has been recognized by local authorities and the tourism sector as a key partner in bringing international visitors to experience Hue’s iconic heritage sites, cultural attractions, and distinctive local tourism products.
According to official reports, Hue welcomed an estimated 6.3 million visitors in 2025, representing an increase of more than 61% compared to 2024. Of this total, international arrivals reached approximately 1.9 million, while domestic visitors accounted for around 4.4 million.

Total tourism revenue was estimated at over VND 13 trillion, making a substantial contribution to the city’s socio-economic growth.
Looking ahead to 2026, Hue aims to welcome 7–7.5 million visitors, with total tourism revenue projected to reach VND 15 trillion. The city will focus on improving service quality, extending visitor length of stay, and increasing average tourist spending.
Hue’s tourism sector is also orienting its development toward green, sustainable, and smart tourism, with priorities including digital transformation, night-time economy development, and the creation of signature tourism products closely linked to the city’s heritage and cultural identity.
Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue People’s Committee, acknowledged and commended the tourism sector’s achievements, highlighting the effective utilization of high-potential tourism products that have contributed to Hue’s increasingly professional and sustainable tourism growth.

The Chairman emphasized that in the coming period, Hue’s tourism industry must further accelerate digital transformation in management, promotion, and product development, leveraging digital technologies, big data, and smart platforms to enhance visitor experiences, improve destination management, and build a modern tourism ecosystem aligned with global trends.
To formally recognize outstanding contributions, the Director of the Hue Department of Tourism signed a decision awarding certificates of merit to Visit Indochina and other units that demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the year.
