On December 25, at the annual tourism review conference and strategic planning session for 2026, Visit Indochina was among the tourism enterprises honored with a Certificate of Merit awarded by the Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The conference was attended by Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People’s Committee; Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; along with representatives from hundreds of tourism businesses operating in Da Nang.

According to Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Da Nang emerged as a leading tourism hub in Central Vietnam in 2025, recording a remarkable surge in visitor arrivals. The city welcomed more than 17.3 million overnight visitors, while revenue from accommodation, food services, and travel activities exceeded VND 50 trillion, with international arrivals showing particularly strong growth.

These figures reaffirm Da Nang’s strong destination appeal, while also underscoring the increasing responsibility to protect natural resources and the environment, ensuring that present growth does not compromise the city’s long-term sustainability.

Tourism continues to serve as a key economic driver for Da Nang, maintaining double-digit growth and making significant contributions to the city’s socio-economic development. To date, Da Nang boasts one of the most modern tourism infrastructure systems in Vietnam, alongside a diversified portfolio of tourism products including green tourism, MICE tourism, sports tourism, and culinary tourism, all of which continue to strengthen the city’s brand positioning.

The image of “Da Nang – a safe, friendly, and attractive destination” has been consistently reinforced through effective destination management and service quality.

Looking ahead, Director Truong Thi Hong Hanh stated that Da Nang’s tourism sector will prioritize the development of distinctive tourism products, while intensifying integrated promotion and marketing campaigns targeting both domestic and international markets.

In 2026, Da Nang is set to host a series of major events, including the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2026), the 4th Da Nang Asian Film Festival, Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2026, and the 10th Da Nang City Sports Games, further enhancing the city’s tourism appeal.

In recognition of its effective promotion of Da Nang’s tourism image and its contribution to attracting international visitors and supporting local socio-economic growth, the Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially awarded a Certificate of Merit to Visit Indochina, alongside several other tourism enterprises.
