Visit Indochina has stepped up its expansion into the Indonesia market, conducting promotional and business activities in four major cities to attract more Indonesian travelers to Central Vietnam.

Visit Indochina attends the 43rd TTC Travel Mart International in Jakarta and Surabaya, introducing Vietnam tour packages and strengthening partnerships with Indonesian outbound travel agencies.
In mid-February, a delegation from Visit Indochina traveled to Bandung, Tangerang, Jakarta, and Surabaya to promote Vietnam tourism, strengthen partnerships, and explore opportunities to increase inbound arrivals from Indonesia.
Among the company’s 10 traditional source markets, Indonesia has maintained steady growth. With a strategic focus on the Muslim travel market and Central Vietnam tourism, destinations such as Da Nang have increasingly drawn attention from Southeast Asia’s most populous country.
At the World Travel Exchange in Bandung and meetings in Tangerang, Visit Indochina’s leadership engaged directly with leading Indonesian tour operators to discuss cooperation and develop strategies to bring travelers from the country of more than 200 million people to Vietnam.

The Visit Indochina booth at TTC Travel Mart International connects with Indonesian travel buyers, promoting Central Vietnam destinations including Da Nang, Hoi An and Halong Bay.
Bandung and Tangerang, key cities on Java Island, are home to numerous travel agencies specializing in family tours, group travel, and corporate clients.
During meetings with partners, Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Visit Indochina, gathered insights into Indonesian travelers’ preferences, including tour demand, length of stay, and spending patterns when visiting Vietnam.
Following the World Travel Exchange, Visit Indochina participated in a Travel Mart in Jakarta on February 9 and Surabaya on February 11.
As Indonesia’s largest outbound hub, Jakarta plays a central role in overseas travel demand, while Surabaya, the economic center of eastern Indonesia, has a stable but underexploited outbound tourism market.

Visit Indochina representatives hold B2B meetings with Indonesian partners to discuss tour development, market demand and opportunities to bring more Indonesian visitors to Vietnam.
By engaging partners across multiple cities rather than focusing solely on the capital, Visit Indochina aims to access diverse market segments within Indonesia.
During these events, the company introduced Vietnam tour products tailored to Indonesian travelers, including beach holidays in Da Nang and Phu Quoc, city tours in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, short shopping trips, and MICE tourism programs.
Indonesian partners expressed interest in flexible tour arrangements, reliable ground services, and operational support within Vietnam.
Visit Indochina currently maintains a strong domestic service network, with in-depth knowledge of the Southeast Asian market and the capability to design travel products suited to Indonesian customer preferences.
The series of activities in Indonesia is seen as a strategic move to expand Visit Indochina’s partner network, establish long-term cooperation, and gradually increase the number of Indonesian visitors to Vietnam in the coming years.
