Singapore’s Low-Cost Airline Scoot Launches Three Weekly Flights to Da Nang

On October 20, the first flight of Scoot Airlines — carrying 174 passengers from Changi International Airport (Singapore) — officially landed at Da Nang International Airport, marking the launch of the new Singapore–Da Nang direct route.

The inaugural Scoot Airlines flight from Singapore arrives at Da Nang International Airport, marking the beginning of three weekly services between the two cities.


Scoot will operate three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with plans to increase to daily flights (seven per week) starting January 2026. The route is served by Airbus A320 aircraft, offering 180–186 seats per flight.

A welcoming ceremony was held at Da Nang International Airport to celebrate the inaugural flight.

According to Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the number of visitors from Singapore to Da Nang has shown steady growth over the years.

A warm welcome ceremony was held at Da Nang International Airport to celebrate Scoot Airlines’ first direct flight connecting Singapore and Da Nang.


With Scoot joining Singapore Airlines and Vietjet Air, the total flight frequency between Singapore and Da Nang now reaches 24 flights per week — further strengthening the connection between the two popular tourism hubs.

Scoot Airlines, a low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines Group, operates medium- and long-haul routes from Singapore to over 70 destinations in 16 countries. In Vietnam, the airline currently flies directly to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Phu Quoc, and plans to expand service to Cam Ranh in the near future.
