Indian MICE Group Experiences Da Nang - Hoi An with Visit Indochina
In late September, a 40-member MICE group from India embarked on a journey through Da Nang and Hoi An with Visit Indochina, experiencing the distinctive culture, landscapes, and cuisine of Central Vietnam.
Welcoming the group at Da Nang International Airport, Visit Indochina directly organized and operated the programme, from the sightseeing itinerary and destination experiences to dedicated activities designed specifically for the MICE group.

On the first day, the group visited Linh Ung Pagoda, one of the highlights of Son Tra Peninsula. From here, guests could enjoy panoramic views of the sea and Da Nang city in a peaceful and lush setting.
In the afternoon, the journey continued with destinations in the city centre, including Dragon Bridge, the Han River, Love Bridge, and APEC Park. These landmarks showcase the modern and dynamic character of Da Nang while offering international visitors a closer look at a rapidly developing coastal city.
On the second day, after visiting and shopping at Han Market, the group travelled to Hoi An. At Bay Mau Coconut Forest, guests experienced a basket boat ride through the water coconut groves, enjoying a distinctive riverside experience characteristic of the area surrounding Hoi An.

Upon arriving in Hoi An Ancient Town, the group explored streets lined with historic houses, assembly halls, and architectural landmarks reflecting the town’s rich heritage. As night fell, releasing flower lanterns onto the Hoai River offered a different perspective of Hoi An and left a memorable impression on the group.
On the third day, Ba Na Hills was the next destination. From the cable car system, guests had the opportunity to admire Da Nang’s mountainous landscapes from above. Alongside the natural surroundings, the European-inspired architecture and the iconic Golden Bridge were among the highlights that attracted particular interest from the group.
That evening, the group attended a Gala Dinner at Nazare Indian Restaurant. More than a dining experience, the event provided an opportunity for members to interact, share their experiences, and strengthen connections after several days of exploring the destinations together.
On the final day, Visit Indochina accompanied the group to Da Nang International Airport, bringing their 4-day, 3-night journey through Central Vietnam to an end.
Continuously welcoming MICE groups from India requires a high level of organizational and coordination capabilities, as well as a strong understanding of the specific needs of each group.
For international groups, particularly MICE travellers, an effective programme goes beyond selecting destinations. It also depends on the ability to operate the itinerary precisely, coordinate multiple services, and create activities that align with the group’s cultural characteristics and interests.
This journey highlighted Visit Indochina’s strength in developing MICE programmes that combine sightseeing, cultural experiences, entertainment, and team-bonding activities. Connecting Da Nang and Hoi An within a single itinerary also gave the group a diverse experience, from a modern coastal city to a heritage destination rich in the cultural identity of Central Vietnam.
The growing number of Indian MICE groups visiting Da Nang also presents new opportunities for the city’s international tourism market, as demand for programmes that combine leisure, destination discovery, and event experiences continues to grow.
