In response to the Da Nang tourism stimulus program 2026, Visit Indochina is launching a series of travel products under the theme “Return to Origins”, aiming to reconnect visitors with the city’s distinctive local values and rich cultural identity.

Traditional culture in Da Nang brings visitors closer to local heritage and festive atmosphere in 2026.

According to Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Visit Indochina, the highlight of the program lies in immersive journeys that allow travelers to truly “touch” traditional craft villages, heritage culture, local cuisine, and everyday community life in Da Nang.

Reconnecting with culturally rich destinations

Through these experiences, visitors do not simply sightsee but live within authentic cultural spaces, feeling the warmth and hospitality of Da Nang’s tourism community.

The “Return to Origins” journeys include visits to traditional villages and cultural spaces across the Quang Nam – Da Nang region, such as Tra Que vegetable village, Cam Thanh coconut village, Thanh Ha pottery village, Kim Bong carpentry village, and creative art spaces like Cui Lu driftwood sculpture workshop in Hoi An.

Authentic cultural experiences in Da Nang and Hoi An—from craft villages to traditional arts—highlight sustainable tourism in 2026.

Culinary exploration is equally central, featuring iconic Central Vietnamese dishes considered national culinary treasures, including Mi Quang, Cao Lau, and rustic specialties like Vietnamese pancakes, all reflecting the bold flavors of the region.

Travelers will also have opportunities to immerse themselves in traditional festivals, spectacular fireworks celebrations, village communal houses, rural markets, and the daily rhythms of local family and community life.

Director Nguyen Son Thuy emphasized that this approach represents sustainable tourism centered on culture, aligning with the growing global trend toward meaningful travel experiences.
