Despite persistent rain, Visit Indochina successfully hosted four international famtrip and MICE delegations from Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand visiting Da Nang, Hue, Hoi An, and Sa Pa in late October.

Delegates from Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines arrive at Da Nang International Airport for Visit Indochina’s late-October famtrip and MICE programs.
All visiting delegations praised the company’s professionalism, hospitality and seamless organization, reaffirming Visit Indochina’s standing as one of Vietnam’s leading inbound travel operators with strong expertise in large-scale group handling.
Exploring Hoi An During Flood Season
In late October, Central Vietnam’s tourism scene came alive as Visit Indochina welcomed four international delegations for inspection and experiential trips, even amid ongoing heavy rains. All programs — from sightseeing and gala dinners to cultural exchanges — proceeded safely and on schedule.
The Malaysia famtrip group, comprising 20 travel agency representatives, arrived in Da Nang to coincide with the launch of Vietjet’s new Kuala Lumpur – Da Nang direct flight.
Their five-day itinerary included Ba Na Hills, the Golden Bridge, French Village, and Sun God Waterfall, along with hotel inspections in Hue and Hoi An, and cultural experiences like cooking classes and the “Ao Dai” show.

The Malaysia famtrip group enjoys a cultural night at the Ao Dai Show in Da Nang — one of the highlights of their 5-day journey hosted by Visit Indochina.
During their visit, delegates witnessed the annual flood season in Hoi An Ancient Town, where water from the Thu Bon River temporarily transforms streets into canals.
Instead of disruption, the scene became a highlight — “a rare and beautiful sight,” as one participant described — showing how locals adapt and preserve the centuries-old heritage of more than 1,300 ancient structures.
“We were deeply impressed by the meticulous organization, professional guides, and warm hospitality of Vietnamese people,” said one Malaysian delegate.
Meanwhile, a Thai MICE group of nearly 200 delegates, organized by Sodchuean Gold Travel, combined leisure and site inspections in Da Nang – Ba Na – Hoi An. Even with rainy weather, the participants remained enthusiastic — taking photos, visiting attractions, and enjoying local cuisine.

“Da Nang is stunning even in the rain, and the people here make us feel warm inside,” a Thai traveler commented.
Also visiting Central Vietnam was a Philippine field trip delegation of 57 students and faculty from St. Ignatius Technical Institute of Business and Arts. Their educational tour included a workshop at Ba Na Hills, a cultural exchange at the University of Education (University of Da Nang), museum visits, and lantern-making and river-floating activities in Hoi An — providing memorable cross-cultural learning experiences.

Discovering the Majestic Beauty of Northern Vietnam
Simultaneously, in northern Vietnam, another Visit Indochina team welcomed a Taiwanese MICE delegation of 70 members from the Taoyuan City Interior Decoration Union for a five-day retreat in Sa Pa.
Their journey included a Fansipan cable car trip, visits to Cat Cat, Lao Chai, and Ta Van villages, and a fine-dining experience at Hôtel de la Coupole – MGallery, offering a glimpse into the grandeur and cultural richness of Vietnam’s Northwest highlands.

Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Visit Indochina, shared that managing four international groups simultaneously under unfavorable weather conditions was a significant challenge. “Thanks to the close coordination among our teams, every program was executed on schedule, maintaining high service standards and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests,” he said. “We always strive to make every visitor feel the genuine hospitality and professionalism of Vietnamese tourism.”
The successful coordination of four international famtrips at once signals a positive recovery for tourism in Da Nang and Northern Vietnam.
Amid a strong rebound in global travel, the smiles, care, and professionalism of Visit Indochina’s team continue to win the hearts of international visitors — inspiring them to return to Vietnam for future journeys.
