Upon arrival in Hanoi, the Philippine tourists experienced the cool weather typical of Northern Vietnam. Among Visit Indochina’s key markets, travelers from the Philippines show strong interest in destinations such as Fansipan, Tam Dao, Hanoi Old Quarter, Ha Giang, and Sapa Vietnam.

During the first day exploring Hanoi travel, Visit Indochina guided the group to Ba Dinh Square and the well-known Hanoi Train Street experience.

In the afternoon, the group continued to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, one of the busiest tourist areas in Hanoi, especially on weekends. At the end of the day, visitors had free time to explore and shop in the Hanoi Old Quarter.

The journey continued from Hanoi to Lao Cai by overnight train. This travel option helped save daytime hours while offering a different experience compared to road transport. The train departed Hanoi in the evening and arrived in Lao Cai the next morning.

On the second day in Sapa Vietnam, the group visited Swing Sapa, a popular photo spot overlooking the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

In the afternoon, the group continued to Rong May Glass Bridge, located on O Quy Ho Pass. The site features an elevator system that takes visitors to a high-altitude viewing area, where they can observe the surrounding valleys and mountains.

On the third day, the itinerary focused on Sapa with multiple attractions. The group visited Moana Sapa, a check-in complex featuring scenic installations. They then headed to Sun World Fansipan Legend to take the Fansipan cable car.

The cable car system transported visitors close to the summit of Fansipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam. From the cable car station, visitors continued either by mountain train or on foot to reach the summit area.

In the afternoon, the group explored Muong Hoa Valley, known for its terraced rice fields and ethnic minority villages.

On the fourth day, the group returned from Sapa to Hanoi by road. Along the way, they stopped to shop for local products, including mountain specialties and silk items.

On the final day, the group stayed in Hanoi to complete the program before concluding their Northern Vietnam travel journey.

A highlight of this Northern Vietnam tour was the overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai, designed by Visit Indochina to maximize daytime exploration while offering a unique travel experience compared to conventional tours.

Admiring the majestic scenery from Fansipan Peak

The Hanoi - Sapa and Fansipan cable car journey has long been considered one of the most memorable experiences for international visitors traveling to Vietnam.

Fansipan is the highest mountain in the Hoang Lien Son range. To reach this destination, visitors travel from Sapa town to Sun World Fansipan Legend.

The Fansipan cable car significantly reduces travel time to an altitude of over 3,000 meters above sea level. During the journey, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of valleys, forests, and local villages below.

After reaching the upper cable car station, visitors can either walk or take a mountain train to approach the summit. The area features multiple viewpoints for observing mountains and clouds at high altitude, along with spiritual sites and observation decks for visitors.

Fansipan stands out not only for its modern tourism infrastructure developed by Sun Group but also for its breathtaking scenery, often described as a “heavenly landscape.” In winter, the area can experience frost, and occasionally even snowfall.
